Hi and thank you for visiting our site! We are Chuck
& Alexis, the owners and operators of Daytime Dogs,
LLC. These are our two kids, Riley and Lucy.
Daytime Dogs is our creation born out
of our life long love affair with dogs
and animals of all kinds. From the age of 3 up to the
present, Chuck has pursued his love of dogs. As a young
adult, he came to find that same passion and energy
being channeled towards helping others with their dog's
needs. He noticed how the pressures and responsibilities
of daily life often created undo pressures of many kinds
on his friends and family who were dog owners themselves.
He saw how so many of the dogs he came in contact with
were missing some of their most basic needs such as
daily exercise and stimulation, socialization
with other dogs and positive reinforcement
of the most basic training commands,
all key components for insuring a well balanced, happy
and healthy pet. He then found that too often, people
had problems keeping up with important veterinary visits,
finding the time to get the proper food and supplies
as well as necessary medications and making that much
needed visit to the groomers. Now as owners of Daytime
Dogs llc, Chuck and his wife Alexis have created a unique
Dog Services Company committed to helping others
in the Gainesville Dog community
who deal with these challenges.
We know that you have a number of
options when it comes to finding the best possible provider
of care for your dog(s). We believe that we offer the
best combination of high quality services backed by
customer service excellence in all of North Central
Florida.

and healthy. We started this business because we
knew many dog owners felt the exact same way.

with an emphasis on using positive reinforcement techniques
that combine consistency, praise and rewards to help
build trust and understanding in most dogs. Not only

Highly Qualified
and Dedicated Staff:
Both Chuck and Alexis have over 30
years of combined experience working with and
handling dogs. Both have received extensive training
and certification in canine safety and handling
from Pepe Peruyero, owner of J&K Canine Academy/Pepe
Dogs of High Springs, Florida. Pepe is one of the most
renowned dog trainers and behavioral specialists in
the Southeastern United States. We are continually educating
ourselves and our Associates in the most up to date
proven methods and theories regarding Canine behavior
and training, It is with this knowledge and education
that we are able to most effectively use positive reinforcement
techniques that utilize praise, consistency and rewards
to enhance trust and comprehension to a dog's understanding.
We are both Pet First Aid and CPR certified
by the American Red Cross.
Chuck and Alexis have been involved in
and actively support Canine Companions for Independence
(CCI) since 1993. CCI is a not for profit organization
that trains assistance dogs to become partners with
individuals with permanent total disabilities and professional
caregivers.

doggies will receive from us. Our goal is to deliver
convenient, personalized, reliable services in a caring
and trustworthy manner to all of our clients and their
beloved dogs."
We hire only highly motivated
dog lovers such as ourselves and will always
perform criminal background checks for all staffing
positions so that you can always have confidence that
your home and dogs are in the safest and most trustworthy
hands.
We act as a substitute for you when you
cannot be there!

Service Company and are we fully credentialed.
 We
are fully licensed, bonded and insured. Our
certificates of coverage are always available for your
review upon request. We are members of (PSI) Pet Sitters
International, (NAPPS) National Association of Professional
Pet Sitters, Delta Society and the Humane Society of
The United States. We have owned and cared for dogs
and pets of all kinds our whole adult lives. We are
active supporters of Gainesville Pet Rescue. We are
family owned and operated. We can provide a full list
of references. We are also veterinarian recommended!
