About Us

In order to guarantee the safety and health of all dogs and the staff of Daytime Dogs, we have set the following guidelines which apply to all clients and their dogs:

Privacy
We will not disclose to third parties any of our client's personal information including the client's name, phone number, address, email, or dog's information, without the expressed consent of the client.

We also respect the privacy of a client's home and will restrict our activities to only the areas we need to access in order to take care of your pet.

General Policies
All dogs 6 months or older must be spayed or neutered.

All dogs must have up to date vaccinations. Owners/Clients must submit written verification that their dogs have current DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations. Rabies is required for puppies over 4 months of age.

All dogs must be in good health. Owners/Clients must certify that their dog(s) are in good health and have been free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other dogs. Owners must certify that their dog(s) have not been ill with a communicable condition in the past 30 days, including fleas or ticks. Daytime Dogs strongly recommends a fleas and tick preventive.

All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food protective. Owners must certify that their dogs have not harmed or exhibited any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or other dogs.

You may elect to have a key kept on file at Daytime Dogs so that we can facilitate additional service in the future. There is a key pick-up and drop-off charge after the initial meet and greet orientation meeting. You can avoid this charge by allowing us to store your keys for you. Please refer to the client agreement for specific details on key retention.

Refusal of Service
Daytime Dogs reserves the right to refuse service to any client. We will not condone or engage in any activities we feel are an abusive means of training, including, but not limited to: food or water deprivation and infliction of physical pain.

24-hour cancellation policy
Reservations are required for participation in our Daytime Dog Day Adventures as well as for our Canine Concierge Services. Cancellations not made by 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity will be charged one half of the applicable rate for that service.

FEES
Payments for any and all services are due at the time service is rendered. Personal checks from local banks as well as credit card payments are accepted.

Dog Day Adventures - Group Outings
For our Daytime Dog Adventure outings, we accept dogs of six (6) months of age or older who have been spayed or neutered. For Individual Dog Walks, we accept dogs of 12 weeks of age or older. Puppies will be accepted on a case by case basis and an additional fee may be required.

All dogs will be thoroughly pre-screened and evaluated for compatibility and temperament prior to admittance to any Daytime Dog Adventures. Each group consists on average between 3 to 5 dogs. All Adventures are closely supervised and monitored. In addition, we make certain that every dog attending receives equal and maximum benefit and play.

Please keep in mind that your dog may be spending time with other dogs and that their safety and security is our main priority. Please be mindful that while all play and interaction with other dogs and people will be closely monitored and supervised, your dog might still acquire an occasional scratch or nip.

Daytime Dogs complies and observes all local leash laws. The only leash free activities allowed during any Daytime Dog Adventures will be at certified Dog Parks in our area with all dogs being closely monitored and contained within said park. No dog will ever be left unattended under any circumstances.
